studio rules & Information
Access & Bookings
You must have a valid booking before entering the studio.
Your booking and access credentials are for you only — no sharing access codes, QR codes or other entry credentials.
No tailgating or allowing another person into the studio under your access.
No guests, friends, babies or children may accompany you.
Please make sure the entrance door closes securely behind you when entering and leaving.
Only use the studio during your booked session.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Please finish your workout, clean your reformer and leave the studio before your booking ends so the next member can start on time.
Before You Exercise
Watch the Flow Studio Induction Video before your first session.
Only use equipment and perform exercises that you understand and feel confident doing independently.
Check your reformer and equipment before starting. Report that appears damaged, loose, faulty or unsafe, to Flow Studio straight away.
If you're unsure how to use something, don't guess — check the induction/instructions or contact us.
Choose springs, footbar positions, straps and other settings appropriate for the exercise you're performing.
Keep long hair, loose clothing and personal belongings clear of springs, wheels, ropes and other moving parts.
While You're Training
Exercise within your own ability and experience.
Stay in control of the carriage at all times.
No horseplay, running or deliberately unsafe use of equipment.
Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath or feel unwell.
Never exercise while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs or anything else that makes exercising unsafe.
Be considerate of other members sharing the studio.
Grip Socks & Clothing
Grip socks must be worn on the reformers at all times. No shoes or bare feet on the reformers.
Wear suitable exercise clothing that won't become caught in the equipment.
Food, Drinks & Smoking
Water bottles are welcome.
No food or alcoholic drinks in the exercise area.
No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the facility.
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
Respect the Space
Treat the studio, equipment and other members with respect.
Do not intentionally damage, misuse or remove Flow Studio equipment or property.
Harassment, threatening behaviour, discrimination, abuse or behaviour that makes another member feel unsafe will not be tolerated.
Photos & Filming
You're welcome to take photos or videos of yourself.
Do not photograph or record other members without their permission.
Commercial photography, filming or content production requires prior approval from Flow Studio.
Emergencies & Incidents
In an emergency, call 111.
Remember that Flow Studio is a DIY facility and staff will not be onsite to assist you.
Keep a phone reasonably accessible while training, particularly if you're using the studio alone.
Familiarise yourself with the emergency exits before exercising.
When Exiting
Wipe down your reformer and any equipment you've used.
Return springs, straps and reformer components to the standard resting position.
Return props and accessories to beneath the carriage.
Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.
Take all personal belongings with you.
Make sure the entrance door closes and locks securely behind you.
